"Until one has loved an animal,
a part of one soul remains unawakened."

If you are an animal lover like me and want to help animals then there are many ways you can take part in the fight against cruelty to animals. Here are just a few suggestions that can help you make the world a better place for all those who care about animals:
  • Give the beloved pets of others home. It is easy to buy a new pet for yourself or your children but it is quite another to find loving, forever homes for pets that are being neglected and abused by humans.
  • If you cannot adopt a pet, then adopt a pet. There are numerous adoption agencies throughout the UK that will provide you with foster care for animals that are in need of homes and which have been abandoned or neglected by their owners.
  • Feed and love them with time and kindness. It is important to remember that animals are like us, they need love and care, just as we do.
  • Educate others on the importance of preventing cruelty to animals. A number of campaigns are currently in place which has been developed to raise awareness of the plight of animals and the need to protect them from mistreatment and neglect. Contact your local, national, or international charity for more information.
  • Invest in eco-friendly products and equipment to help protect the environment. When you consider how much money is spent on the production of dog treats and buns, and the amount that goes into meat and dairy, you may begin to understand the amount of money that can be saved by investing in equipment that uses environmentally-friendly materials and is efficient.
  • Encourage people to own better animals. Although most pets will never be able to compete with humans in the sporting arena, it is possible to train your dog and cat to participate in obedience trials, agility competitions, and other similar activities.
  • Become involved in helping the people and pets that are forced to live in animal shelters. By taking part in fundraisers, volunteering at shelters, and adopting animals from local shelters, you can show the public the importance of adopting animals from shelters and that it is possible to save animals and that adopting animals from shelters is a wonderful and beneficial way to contribute to a good cause.
  • Help people and families look after the shelter animals. By finding it worthwhile to attend events, provide literature, and volunteer your time, you can help to reduce the number of unwanted, abandoned, and neglected animals.
  • Become a veterinarian. The first step to becoming a vet is to undergo veterinary training and after that, you can attend private or veterinary school to further your education.

An understanding of the value of all animals is the first step to protecting and caring for them. These simple suggestions should prove useful to anyone who wants to help animals and make the world a better place for all.hHope you all will love my work.
