Many dogs in the country are sleeping with an empty stomach and no hope. Animals do need food and water to measure, as they're also living beings. Animals are just like humans, they eat and use the food to produce energy ... so please do not trouble animals do love them and save them. Every living being needs to be fed.
Feeding of strays is part of an urban city, just like traffic jams and shopping malls. The more the strays will be fed, the more they will be calm and won’t harm anyone in the society. So keep feeding your stray dogs in your surroundings with complete prevention by wearing gloves and masks.
Let world leaders, health experts, and epidemiologists work for us to find a treatment for COVID-19, and we, the local people, take care of our surrounding animals.
To avoid such scenarios, the Animal Welfare Board of India has issued an advisory to all the chief secretaries of state and Union territories that food for companion animals and strays is an essentials service and kept operational during the lockdown. It has also requested the district administration to allot times for designated workers or volunteers to provide food and water to strays since it is an “essential service.” Even Smt. Maneka Gandhi also advised people to feed as many strays as possible and whenever to help the animals survive.
I request all of you to feed the animals during this period. I will be doing the same.
